C Deprecated Elements

This section lists deprecated scripts and LDAP structures that are being superseded and may become unsupported in the future.

C.1 Deprecated Scripts

posldap2crconfig

The functions of this script are superseded by posleases2ldap and pos calls. For more information, see Section B.3.4, “posldap2crconfig”.

C.2 Deprecated LDAP Structures

scIdPool

It was possible to use this attribute to enter location's IDs by either new multivalue or separated by semicolons (or both). Now, only the first approach is supported, which means that there is only one ID per each subvalue of the multivalued scIdPoolattribute.

scPartitionsTable

This attribute is superseded by the scPartition object, which additionaly allows to specify a password for data (non-system) partition encryption. For more information, see Section 10.5.5, “Using Encrypted Partitions on Terminals”.

scPosImageVersion

Similar to scPartitionsTable, this attribute is superseded by the scImageVersion object, which additionally allows to specify a password for the system partition encryption.
