2 How do I manage AI applications?

 

SUSE AI Factory helps you manage the whole lifecycle of AI applications and related workloads on your Kubernetes cluster.

Important
Important

You must first configure all the necessary secrets before installing AI applications and blueprints. Refer to Post-deployment steps for detailed procedures.

2.1 How do I install AI applications?

 

  1. From the main left panel, select SUSE AI Factory › Apps.

  2. Select SUSE AI Library and select the application tile.

    You can also limit the number of displayed applications by entering a search string.

  3. Use the Basic Information screen of the installation wizard to update the instance name, namespace, and version of the application.

  4. On the Target Cluster screen, you can review hardware requirements for the workload, specify the deployment type, and which cluster to deploy the application to.

  5. Use the Configuration screen to change individual settings in the Helm chart of the application.

  6. The Review screen summarizes the basic information about the deployment. Start the deployment by selecting the Install button.

  7. After the installation progress bar reaches 100%, you can check the workload status by selecting SUSE AI Factory › Workloads from the left menu.

2.2 How do I manage application instances?

  1. From the main left panel, select SUSE AI Factory › Workloads.

  2. Select the Manage button pertaining to the application you want to manage.

  3. In the Manage wizard, you can update the application version, the destination cluster, and the details of the Helm chart.

  4. Confirm with Save.

2.3 How do I delete application instances?

 

  1. From the main left panel, select SUSE AI Factory › Workloads.

  2. Select the Delete button pertaining to the application you want to uninstall, and confirm the deletion.
