プロキシの移行

SUSE Manager 4.3では、RPMベース、Podman上でのコンテナ化、またはk3s上でのコンテナ化の3つの方法を使用してプロキシを配備できます。

SUSE Manager 5.0では、Podmanで実行されるコンテナ化されたプロキシの管理が再設計され、mgrpxyツールで簡単に管理できるようになりました。同時に、RPMベースのサポートは削除され、Podmanまたはk3sで実行されるコンテナ化されたバージョンのみがサポートされるようになりました。

このセクションでは、mgrpxyツールを使用したプロキシ4.3からの移行について説明します。

An in-place migration from SUSE Manager 4.3 to 5.0 is unsupported because the host operating system has changed from SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP4 to SLE Micro 5.5.

従来の接続プロトコルは、SUSE Manager 5.0移行ではサポートされなくなりました。Before migrating from SUSE Manager 4.3から5.0に移行する前に、従来のプロキシを含む既存の従来のクライアントをSaltに移行する必要があります。

1. 新しいSUSE Managerプロキシの配備

インプレース移行はサポートされていないため、新しいFQDNを使用して新しいSUSE Managerプロキシを配備する必要があります。

2. 新しいプロキシへのクライアントの移行

クライアントを移行する前に、新しいプロキシが配備済みで完全に機能することを確認します。
プロシージャ: プロキシ間でクライアントを移行する

  1. SUSE ManagerサーバのWeb UIにログインします。

  2. 左側のナビゲーションから、:システム[システム一覧]を選択します。

  3. 古い4.3プロキシのページに移動し、［プロキシ］タブを選択します。

  4. Select all systems to "SSM".

  5. 左側のナビゲーションから、システム  システムセットマネージャを選択します。

  6. サブメニューのその他  プロキシを選択します。

  7. From the drop-down select the new proxy to migrate to.

  8. Click Change Proxy.

All selected clients will now be migrated to the new proxy. You can check the schedule progress to verify if all clients were successfully migrated.

After a few minutes, the clients will start to show up the new connection path. When all clients have the connection path under the new proxy, the old 4.3 proxy system is not needed anymore and can be removed.
