システムの種類
クライアントは、システムの種類で分類されます。 各クライアントは、両方のベースシステムの種類を備えることができ、アドオンシステムの種類が割り当てられます。
Base system type is Salt for all clients.
Add-on system types include:
-
Virtualization Host: Assigned to clients that operate as physical virtual hosts/hypervisors (such as KVM). Setting this system type is required to allow the daily Taskomatic job to query the system directly (vialibvirt) and inventory its running virtual machines for display under and for subscription matching. If the physical virtualization host is managed using the Salt Bundle (
venv-salt-minion), it must be a SUSE-based operating system, and the systemlibvirt-libslibrary must be installed on the host to enable virtual machine inventory tracking. For more information, see Availability of Salt’s "virt" module inside the Salt Bundle. -
Container Build Host: Assigned to clients that operate as a build host.
